DALLAS-Lincoln Property Co., a commercial real estate firm based in Dallas, has acquired a shopping center measuring nearly 60,000 square feet in the Lakewood retail district at Gaston Avenue and Abrams Road in East Dallas. Several tenants, including Lakewood Ace Hardware and the Dixie House restaurant, occupy space in the Lakewood block.

Dallas' Corrigan family owned the property for decades. Southwest Bank financed the acquisition. The building was originally constructed in 1939 and it was enlarged in 1965. For the full story, go to Dallas Morning News .
