KATY, TX-Horsham, Pennsylvania-based Toll Brothers Inc. has closed a deal to purchase 180 acres on FM 1463 in Katy from Houston-based Moody-Simmons Partners. The seller planned to develop a 340-home community, known as Silver Oak, on the acreage, but never managed to proceed with the plan.
The new owner is planning to develop 305 home lots. Sizes of homes in the community will range from 3,000 square feet to 5,500 square feet, and prices will range from $400,000 and up. For the full story, go to Houston Business Journal .
