TAMPA, FL-Brownstone Tampa Partners LLC has purchased the old Trump Tower Tampa site and the adjacent CapTrust Building, a multi-tenant office building, for a total amount of $5 million. A 52-story condominium complex was planned on the Trump Tower Tampa site.
Developer SimDag/RoBEL LLC started the project in summer 2005, but in 2008 the developer filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy rearrangement. In 2008, lender BB&T, as recipient to Colonial Bank, received proprietorship of the property. For the full story, go to Tampa Bay Business Journal .
