BIRMINGHAM, UK-St. Modwen Properties Plc and Advantage West Midlands have obtained Birmingham City Council's planning permission to build a GBP 70-million town centre at Longbridge in Birmingham. The new Longbridge town centre will be developed in three phases.
The first phase of the development will include a Sainsbury's-anchored store measuring 85,000 square feet and a car park, while the second and the third phases will include 40 apartments, restaurants, an 80,000-square-foot retail space, an 80-bed hotel and car parking.
