LONDON-British Land has purchased Grenfell Island, an office and leisure property totaling 198,000 square feet in Maidenhead for GBP 74 million. The property comprises 113,000 square feet of office space.
The office space, which is leased to Hutchison 3G UK Ltd., houses Hutchison Whampoa Ltd.'s UK headquarters. Grenfell Island, constructed in 2000, also has 85,000 square feet of leisure accommodation.
