CHICAGO-W. P. Carey & Co., an investment firm based in New York, has bought the River North site of an upscale Mexican restaurant for $7 million. The firm has purchased the 13,900-square-foot site located at the corner of Illinois and State street where a new Cantina Laredo restaurant will be opened in August.
