EDISON, NJ-Vaswani Inc. has signed for 76,708 square feet at 75 Carter Drive here, relocating its corporate headquarters from locations in Union, NJ and Piscataway, NJ. Vaswani, a manufacturer/provider of custom fixtures and furniture for the retail industry, is in expansion mode and will use the space for general office, warehousing, manufacturing and distribution says Jones Lang LaSalle, which represented the tenant.
“Vaswani is a growing company that recently expanded its operations, which forced the company to relocate from two separate locations,” says JLL leasing associate Jason Barton in a statement. “The space we secured for Vaswani in Edison will fit the company’s increasing needs over the next several years.”
Other tenants in 75 Carter Drive, which was completed in 1984, include a Best Buy warehouse. The asking rents for the building is $4.75 per square foot, according to LoopNet. CB Richard Ellis SVPs Lou Belfer and Scott Belfer represented the landlord, Caro Associates II.
