WASHINGTON, DC-Besides announcing its new chair, the Building Owners and Managers Association took care of other internal issues at its recent conference this week: it elected five new members to join its executive committee.

They are Chicago area-based Steven J. Hrbek, senior real estate manager, CB Richard Ellis; Scott O. Jones, manager of projects and principal, Jacobs Engineering Group-Global Buildings in Fort Worth, TX; Katya Naman, senior vice president of Lowe Enterprises, in the Washington, DC area; Orlando-based Laura T. Ragans, property manager with Manulife Financial; and John K. Scott, director of Cushman & Wakefield’s Corporate Occupier & Investor Services in Miami, FL. A call to BOMA was not returned in time for publication.

At the start of the week, as the conference kicked off, BOMA announced that Boyd R. Zoccola, executive vice president of Hokanson Cos., was its new chair and chief elected officer of the organization. Zoccola’s term runs through June 2012.
