WALNUT CREEK, CA-The city of Walnut Creek will get nearly 580 new apartments through three large planned developments, which are seeking for the city approval. Laconia Development plans a mixed-use development measuring 173,500 square feet at 1500 California Blvd. The development will feature 154 apartments, a 20,725-square-foot retail area and a 242-vehicle parking garage.

The other two projects are the North Main Apartments, an apartment building featuring 126 units and a 170-vehicle parking lot, and the Paragon Apartments, a 300-apartment project. For the full story, go to Oakland Tribune .
