NEW YORK CITY-Congregation Beit Simchat Torah has acquired a commercial condominium space measuring 15,000 square feet at 130 West 30th Street for $7.1 million. The synagogue will move from its current location in the West Village to the fashion district in 2013.
The congregation will house its offices, conference rooms and a social hall in the condominium space. Doug Chitel and Gregg Winter from Winter & Company negotiated the deal on behalf of the Congregation Beit Simchat Torah. For the full story, go to New York Observer .
