CHICAGO-Newcastle Ltd. in Chicago has purchased two North Side properties for $9.1 million. The firm acquired an apartment-retail building at 1200 W. Granville Ave. in Edgewater and an apartment complex at 525 W. Stratford Plaza in Lakeview from a venture of Sheon Realty Co. of Chicago.
The 1200 W. Granville building has 32 studio apartments and 6,750 square feet of retail space, while the 525 W. Stratford complex contains 59 apartments. Apartment Investment Advisors handled the deal on behalf of Sheon. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
