CHICAGO-The Chicago Community Development Commission has approved $7 million in public subsidy to finance a Greektown development near the southwest corner of Monroe and Halsted Streets. The $41.8-million retail project will include a new store for Mariano's Fresh Market.
A tax-increment financing concession of roughly 16.73% of the $41.8-million project was approved by the city panel. Mariano's will occupy 75,595 square feet at the 95,125-square-foot retail project. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
