ATLANTA-Highwoods Properties Inc., a real estate investment trust based in Raleigh, North Carolina, is planning to buy the Riverwood 100, 502,000-square-foot building in Cumberland in northwest Atlanta. GE Asset Management, the owner of Riverwood 100, and the REIT will enter into final negotiations on the property.
