ESCONDIDO, CA-America's Best Value Inn, an 83-room hotel in Escondido, will be turned into a Quality Inn & Suites in a couple of months. San Diego-based Kalthia Group Hotels LLC acquired the hotel located at 555 N. Centre City Parkway last year from a lender.
Since the previous owner was not able to pay a $4-million loan, the lender foreclosed on the property. At present, Kalthia is in the process of refurbishing the hotel. For the full story, go to The North County Times .
