CHICAGO-The Old Main Post Office owner has revealed a plan to turn the bulky structure as well as surrounding properties into a huge mixed-use development. The $3.5-billion development spanning 16 million square feet at 433 W. Van Buren St. was suggested by Bill Davies.

The project will include 2 million square feet of office space, 6.2 million square feet of retail space, 3.8 million square feet of residential space, 7,500 hotel rooms and 12,000 parking spaces. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
