LONDON-A private investor has purchased a Sainsbury's supermarket located at 25 Calderwood Street in Woolwich, London from Woolwich Properties for GBP 9.7 million. The net initial yield of the deal is 5.5%. The property spanning 41,000 square feet is leased to Sainsbury's supermarket for 25 more years. At present, the supermarket chain is paying GBP 565,000 as annual rent for the space.
