CHICAGO-Westdale Investment Partners LLC, an investment firm based in Chicago, has acquired Briarbrook Village Apartments, a 342-unit complex at 1147 Briarbrook Drive in Wheaton, for $34.2 million or about $100,000 per unit. The apartment property was sold by Chicago-based Heitman Capital Management Corp.
The complex, constructed in 1972, contains a clubhouse, business center, fitness center, cyber cafe and a pool. Heitman purchased the complex in 2007 for $33 million and renovated the property in 2009. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
