RALEIGH, NC-Crescent Resources, a real estate development company based in Charlotte, has started construction on the Gallery at Cameron Village, a mixed-use apartment scheme in Raleigh. The $50-million project will include 282 apartments and retail space measuring 16,000 square feet.

The first apartments are expected to be opened in spring 2013. After the completion of the Gallery at Cameron Village, Crescent will seek LEED certification for the project from the U.S. Green Building Council. For the full story, go to Charlotte Business Journal .
