Colliers Names Execs in OC, L.A. Offices

IRVINE, CA-Colliers International has named Liz Johnson as an Orange County-based managing director in the Integrated Client Services division of Corporate Solutions and Jeff Brock as VP and director of hospitality services in Downtown L.A.

Johnson joins the organization with more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience in brokerage and corporate services. Brock practiced real estate at a number of brokerage firms including most recently, his own boutique hospitality advisory, as well as a six-year stint with CB Richard Ellis.

Johnson began her commercial real estate career in market research for Grubb & Ellis Co. in 1991. She soon became the national director of research and clients services, a position in which she was part of the company’s senior management team. Her responsibilities included management of overall operations of the company’s research and client-services function, oversight of the affiliate research program, and several other key company initiatives.

Brock

Johnson transferred into corporate services in 1999, leading national accounts including Intel Corp., Kaiser Permanente, Ernst & Young and Levi Strauss & Co. Most recently, she has focused on retail portfolio strategy and West Area store expansion for a Fortune 100 company.

Brock will specialize in the sale of branded limited service, select service, extended stay and smaller full-service hospitality assets. His experience includes a post as director of sales with a regional hotel management company that managed Hilton and Marriott properties throughout the western US; co-founder and chief investment officer for a real estate development firm that acquired and renovated office and hotel properties nationally on behalf of an affiliated private equity Brock fund.
