BRISTOL, CT-ACG North America Inc. has started an expansion and renovation project for the Clarion hotel containing 100,000 square feet in Bristol. The $12-million expansion will include the creation of a six-story, 35,000 square feet tower at the Century Drive hotel.
The project will include remodeling of the existing 120 rooms, banquet and conference space, public areas and restaurant. The hotel will be renamed as a DoubleTree by Hilton. Gerald A. Niznick and his venture, Bristol Hotel LLC, own the property. For the full story, go to Hartford Courant .
