BIRMINGHAM, AL-Commonwealth REIT, an industrial and office real estate investment trust, has purchased Wells Fargo Tower in Birmingham, Alabama. The office tower was sold by AREA Property Partners for $68.5 million.
Wells Fargo Tower is currently 76% occupied. Current occupiers in the Birmingham tower include Wells Fargo, Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkowitz PC, Burr & Forman LLP, Deloitte & Touche, KPMG LLP and Merrill Lynch. For the full story, go to Birmingham Business Journal .
