NEW YORK CITY-According to Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)'s 2010 financial report, construction on a 1,050-foot-tall tower located on West 53rd Street could be delayed for another four years. Hines is the developer of the Jean Nouvel-designed project, which will feature a 52,000-square-foot expansion area for MoMA, a 97,000-square-foot hotel and apartments spanning 481,000 square feet. The company bought the site from MoMA in 2009 for $125 million.

The City Planning Commission rejected Nouvel's original proposal for a 1,250-foot-tall skyscraper two years ago. For the full story, go to New York Post .
