NEW YORK CITY-Kaplow Communications has renewed its lease for five years with Germany-based Deka Immobillen Investments for 15,500 square feet of office space at 19 W. 44th St. Deka Immobillen purchased the 16-story structure from SL Green Realty Corp.

The asking rent for the space was in the mid-$40s range. Robert Goodman and Richard Plehn with Colliers International and Dan Segal of Newmark Knight Frank represented the tenant, while David Kaufman with SL Green represented the owner in the deal.
