RECon is staying in Las Vegas. The International Council of Shopping Centers inked a deal with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Bureau to hold its show at the Las Vegas Convention Center for the next five years.

While it's not the biggest Las Vegas convention (we think that title belongs to the interational consumer technology show), we have heard many times that RECon attendees spend more money than those attending other conferences. ICSC-related activities supposedly bring in $31 million of non-gaming revenue when the convention is in town.

That's not surprising. Actually after attending parties at the ICSC show for years, it seems like that number should even be higher.

ICSC resigning in Las Vegas isn't surprising either. It's obviously a place where people want to go, and it easily has the convention space for this large event.

How do you feel about RECon remaining in Las Vegas? Are you happy to be going back or are you tired of making the trip to that crazy place and would attend it in another city?
