OTTAWA, IL-Oak Brook-based Inland Western Retail Real Estate Trust Inc. has sold a distribution center measuring 1 million square feet in Ottawa located southwest of the Chicago area for approximately $48 million. PetSmart Inc., a retailer based in Phoenix, is occupying the center, 910 E. Stevenson Road.
PetSmart's lease expires in 2015. Inland Western did not disclose the buyer of the distribution center. The REIT paid nearly $42.8 million for the facility in 2005. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
