SEATTLE-Construction has started on a new, ultra-green office building on Seattle's Capitol Hill. The Bullitt Center has been modeled to generate as much energy it uses.
The six-story building, known as the Cascadia Center for Sustainable Design and Construction, is located at East Madison Street and 15th Avenue. The $30-million project is expected to be completed late next year. The Bullitt Foundation is putting half the money and has acquired the balance from U.S. Bank.
