CHICAGO-Irvine Co., a Newport Beach, California-based investment company, has agreed to acquire a 50% joint-venture stake in the UBS Tower, a 51-floor office building located at 1 N. Wacker Drive. According to the deal, the value of the 1.4-million-square-foot building is about $620 million, which translates into $451 per square foot.

The UBS Tower is 94% occupied. Barnes & Thornburg LLP, PricewaterhouseCoopers and UBS A.G. are some of the tenants of the building. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
