LONDON-Canary Wharf Group is planning to expand its Jubilee Place shopping center in Canary Wharf by roughly 50,000 square feet. The expansion is part of a long-term property management tactics to redevelop and extend Canary Wharf retail.

The company received planning consent in 2008, but it waited until the current 89,500-square-foot space was fully leased. Architect BDP will handle the extension. Canary Wharf Contractors will be the construction manager and lead contractor. The group will finance project itself. For the full story, go to Property Week .
