BOSTON-AvalonBay Communities Inc. is starting construction on a 28-story apartment tower on Exeter Street in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. The company is filling the final portion of the Prudential Center complex.
The apartment project, known as Avalon Exeter, will contain 187 apartment units. The 242,000-square-foot tower will also include a small retail space on the ground floor.
