BROOKLYN, NY-The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is planning to list nine more properties on the sales block, including New York City Transit's previous headquarters at 370 Jay St. in Brooklyn. The corporation plans to sell or lease the Jay Street building, which measures 459,000 square feet, early next year.
Alan Miller of Eastern Consolidated estimated that the vacant building would fetch nearly $90 million or about $200 per square foot. The MTA is also planning to sell a 640,000-square-foot parcel in the Bronx. For the full story, go to Wall Street Journal .
