SAVANNAH, GA-Savannah Morning News has reported that Charleston, South Carolina-based Bennett Hospitality is expecting start construction on Embassy Suites, a 150-room hotel on West Oglethorpe Avenue in Savannah. The newspaper also reported that the five-story hotel and adjoining two-story parking garage are designed after historic structures in Savannah.
Bennett Hospitality received approval for the 39,856-square-foot hotel and the parking deck in 2007 and 2008, respectively, but projects were delayed because of recession. Savannah-based Greenline Architecture has designed the project. For the full story, go to Atlanta Business Chronicle .
