SAN RAFAEL, CA-The Board of Supervisors of Marin County has agreed to purchase a portion of the Marin Commons office complex located at 600 Los Gamos Road in San Rafael from CIGNA Real Estate for $29.5 million. The board has also agreed to invest $53 million for the conversion of the 315,000-square-foot office park situated on a 24-acre site into high-tech sheriff's headquarters and emergency operations.
