PITTSBURGH-Walnut Capital Partners, which plans to expand its Bakery Square development across Penn Avenue, is bidding to purchase the Reizenstein school property for over $5.4 million from the Pittsburgh Public Schools. The company has plans to redevelop the school site into more than 400,000 square feet of retail and office space as well as 90 homes.
