WASHINGTON, DC-CBRE is doubling down its efforts for mid-cap companies and has tapped Thomas Rogers as SVP, Global Corporate Services, to put this play into place. Rogers is a 22-year real estate veteran, most recently at Grubb & Ellis, where he was responsible for managing client development and providing real estate services to corporate clients in the southern US states. At CBRE, his focus will be on the Mid-Atlantic.

“Our goal is to penetrate mid-cap companies,” he tells GlobeSt.com. To this end, “we are fashioning responses to fit their needs, which may or may not include the full menu of services that the Fortune 100 companies tend to use.” More typically, Rogers says, mid-cap firms use strategic consulting, lease administration, transaction management and project management services the most. “So that is where we will be focusing our attention,” he says.

Pricing will be scaled to this group, he says, adding: “We recognize that mid cap firms don’t have as many locations as the Fortunes so we will modify packages to make them more affordable.”
