DENVER-Qwest Communications International's former headquarters tower in downtown Denver is under contract. Toronto-based Brookfield Asset Management Inc. has agreed to pay over $200 million, or about $166 per square foot, for the 1801 California Street skyscraper.

The 52-story, 1.317-million-square-foot office tower is now occupied by CenturyLink Inc., which has inked a new lease for roughly 150,000 square feet of space and additional 35,000 square feet of temporary space in the skyscraper.
