MASCOUTAH, IL-Traverse City, Michigan-based North Bay Produce Inc. is planning construct a $5.7-million refrigerated warehouse measuring 36,448 square feet at MidAmerica St. Louis Airport in Mascoutah. The company has plans to use its MidAmerica Airport presence to begin trade in Asia.
Under a deal approved by the St. Clair County Public Building Commission, the building cost will be shared between North Bay and the airport. After the completion of the initial lease, the airport will take the ownership of the entire building. For the full story, go to St. Louis Business Journal .
