
NEW YORK CITY-Macy's Herald Square will receive a $400-million improvement. Cincinnati, Ohio-based Macy's Inc. will start the renovation of its flagship this spring and complete it in fall 2015.
Macy's will expand the selling floor by 100,000 square feet to 1.2 million square feet, upgrade the shoe department to 39,000 square feet and add 300 rooms to the store.
