CHICAGO-Norwalk, Connecticut-based GE Capital has signed a lease renewal and expansion deal in a West Loop office tower. The company has agreed to take 370,000 square feet of space at 500 W. Monroe St.

GE Capital currently occupies 308,000 square feet at the 973,000-square-foot high-rise building. Johns Creek, Georgia-based Piedmont Office Realty Trust Inc. is the owner of the 44-story office tower. Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. brokers negotiated the lease deal on behalf of the landlord.
