SEATTLE-Chicago-based Helix Funds and Seattle-based Trinity Real Estate have sold The Marlborough, a 12-story apartment building at University Street and Boren Avenue, for $26.7 million. The Trinity/Helix venture spent $3 or $4 million to renovate the 83-unit complex.

Public records showed that the apartment building was sold an entity whose sponsors could not be identified immediately. Helix Funds and Trinity Real Estate purchased the property in September 2010 for $12.75 million. For the full story, go to Seattle Times .
