NEW YORK CITY-St. Louis-based Panera Bread Co. has recently leased 4,600 square feet of space at 10 Union Square East situated between East 14th and East 15th streets. The Union Square East property is owned by Malkin Properties.
The asking rent for the 10-year lease was $250 per square foot. The Panera Bread will join Chipotle in the Malkin-owned building. In the lease transaction, the tenant was represented by Ripco Real Estate's Andrew Mandell, and Malkin Properties' Fred Posniak represented the landlord in-house.
