BOSTON-Berklee College of Music to start construction on a mixed-use property at 160 Massachusetts Ave. near St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church and Belvidere Street. The $65-million, 16-story complex is part of a $100-million development.
The 155,000-square-foot building will include a 370-bed residence block, a 400-seat student performance space, a dining hall and recording studios. Quincy, Massachusetts-based Lee Kennedy Co. is the builder and Boston-based William Rawn Architects is the architect of the building. Construction is expected to be completed in fall 2013.
