COLUMBIA, MD-Rockville-based First Potomac Realty Trust has acquired two office buildings in Columbia, Maryland and a controlling stake in two properties in Northern Virginia. The firm has purchased the Hillside Center I and II properties in Columbia for a combined $16.15 million.
First Potomac has also taken over a first mortgage loan of approximately $51.5 million for a 51% interest in Metro Place III and IV in Merrifield from GE Asset Management. The transaction values the buildings at nearly $105 million. For the full story, go to Washington Business Journal .
