MILWAUKEE-A new 200-room hotel is coming up in the area of the Johnson Bank building on the corner of East Wisconsin Avenue and North Milwaukee Street in downtown Milwaukee. The city approved the new Milwaukee Marriott hotel in January.
The project will also include a Schwanke-Kasten Jewelers store and a new Starbucks. Milwaukee-based Jackson Street Management LLC, the developer, is utilizing the federal EB-5 program to finance the project. The hotel is scheduled to be opened in mid-2013.
