NEW YORK CITY- The City Council has approved the development of the six-acre Admirals Row site in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corp. is planning to redevelop the Navy Yard site into a supermarket with a light industrial space over the market.

The project, which is predicted to cost nearly $60 million, will include 127,000 square feet of industrial space, 74,000 square feet of retail space and 8,000 square feet of office space. For the full story, go to Crain's New York Business .
