GOODYEAR, AZ-Pittsburgh-based Dick's Sporting Goods will start construction next week on a 600,000-square-foot distribution center in Goodyear. The $40-million warehouse will be constructed in the PV303 business park and will be opened in January 2013.
Scottsdale-based Renaissance Cos. has been selected as the contractor and Phoenix-based Butler Design Group will be the architect. Dick's bought 50 acres of land in the 1,600-acre business park at 4651 N. Cotton Lane. Jones Lang LaSalle's Bill Honsaker, Marc Hertzberg and Tony Lydon brokered the deal.
