RALEIGH, NC-Kimco Realty Inc., a shopping center group based in New Hyde Park, New York, has bought the Brennan Station shopping center at 8111 Creedmoor Road in north Raleigh for $27.15 million. The 132,400-square-foot center was sold by an affiliate of Charlotte-based Hawthorne Retail Partners.

As part of the deal, Hawthorne has also sold a retail center in Cornelius to shopping center group. The two retail transactions totaled $42.7 million. Charlotte-based Berkeley Capital Advisors represented the seller in the deals. For the full story, go to Triangle Business Journal .
