LONDON-Metric Income Plus Limited Partnership (MIPP), a joint venture between Metric Property Investments and Universities Superannuation Scheme Ltd., has purchased a retail unit measuring 48,300 square feet in Sevenoaks Way in Orpington from Carpetright plc for GBP 6.25 million. Under a sale-and-leaseback deal, Carpetright has taken the retail unit for 15 years from MIPP.
