SOUTHAMPTON, UK-Universities Superannuation Scheme Limited and British Land have joined together to develop the GBP 64-million Whiteley retail center in Hampshire. They have acknowledged their commitment regarding the development of Whiteley Shopping Centre, a 300,000-square-foot center in South Hampshire.
Next and M&S have agreed to anchor the shopping center, which is scheduled to open in spring 2013. The development is designed by Corstophine and Wright. The scheme is located between Southampton and Portsmouth, and adjacent to a Tesco supermarket. For the full story, go to PropertyMall .
