BORDEAUX, FRANCE-MVRDV and the Urban Community of Bordeaux have presented the master plan for Bastide Niel in Bordeaux. Bastide Niel, an 86-acre expansion of the city center of Bordeaux on the bank of Garonne River, is expected to contain almost 4,036,466 square feet.
The project will comprise 3,200 homes, 269,097 square feet of offices, 269,097 square feet of retail, 624,306 square feet of public facilities and 161,458 square feet of crafts. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2014. For the full story, go to Europe Real Estate .
