CHICAGO-Waterton Associates LLC, an apartment investor based in Chicago, is adding a Streeterville apartment hotel to a local portfolio. The company has signed a deal with Irmco Properties & Management Corp. to purchase Seneca, a vintage building consisting of 264 units at 200 E. Chestnut St.
The 16-story Seneca apartment hotel was constructed in 1926. Irmco is also selling the 283-unit Sovereign building at 1040 W. Granville Ave. to Loyola University Chicago. Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP is managing the Irmco portfolio dealings. For the full story, go to Crain's Chicago Business .
